We often put limitations on ourselves as to what we believe we can achieve. But that is never based on the circumstances involved in achieving the outcome. How many times have you said that you are not good enough, smart enough, or strong enough about something?
We have to remember that we are generalizing when we speak like that. When we say we are not good enough you are not always referring to being the best at the situation.
For example, am I good enough to play tennis? Well, I am not good enough to win Wimbledon, but I am good enough to play at some level. That is the truth and that is OK. To expect to be a master or even exceptional at something right away is unrealistic, as the people that you are comparing yourself to have probably been honing that craft for years. Remember this though, they all had their first day, the only difference between them and you is that they took that first step.
The old saying "You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great" holds great truths.
So the next time you have the opportunity to be involved in something, remember those words. Rather than say I am not good enough for that, or I can't do that, do what the greats did and take that first step, you may end up surprising yourself.
Remember that any movement forward in any application is growth and progress. These are key steps in becoming REBILT "NEVER BROKEN".
